100th Anniversary of Rededication of Butts Hill Fort

Honoring 100 years since Roderick Terry saved Butts Hill Fort and Fort Barton in Tiverton, this event will include speakers talking about Dr. Terry. Portsmouth Town Historian Jim Garman will speak on the history of Butts Hill Fort. Also on the schedule will be Newport Artillery Company firing their cannons, musket demonstrations, and the Middlesex Fife and Drum Company. This event is sponsored by Butts Hill Fort Restoration/Battle of Rhode Island Association and is open to the public.
