Get ready for an unforgettable evening of brain-teasing fun and local pride! The Portsmouth Historical Society is thrilled to host its 8th Annual Portsmouth History Trivia Night, this year in the historic Montaup Country Club — once the 18th-century homestead of William A. Chase.
The trivia showdown kicks off at 7 PM, with the doors opening at 6:30 PM, and it’s shaping up to be our most exciting yet.
Bring your own food and make it a feast! Whether it’s pizza, picnic fare, or your team’s secret snack stash, you’re welcome to enjoy your own spread while you play. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
Last year’s event sold out fast, with every seat filled for a lively, laughter-filled competition. Seating is limited to 125, so don’t wait — book your spot today!

Returning as our dynamic emcee is Joe Cassady, Portsmouth High School’s beloved AP History teacher. With his quick wit and infectious enthusiasm, Joe guarantees an evening full of laughter, friendly rivalry, and plenty of “aha!” moments.
A suggested donation of $10 per table will be collected at the door to support the Portsmouth Historical Society.
