Board Members Jim Garman, Doug Smith, Dave Faucher, Dave Duggan, Gary Gump and Rich Talipsky did a lot of “digging” to excavate the lower part of the museum foundation to allow access to paint the lower parts of the walls. After “digging” a trench, they “filled” it in with pea gravel. This will not only allow painters to access the lower part of the wall, but also reduce the chance of rot on the lower clapboard siding.
